I believe that every student has the potential to develop a distinctive artistic voice. My responsibility as an educator is not to prescribe what their music should sound like, but to broaden their artistic perspectives, nurture their curiosity, and provide the guidance necessary for them to discover their own creative identities.

At the heart of my teaching is the belief that artistic perspective is as important as technical mastery. Drawing on my experience in concert composition, film scoring, electronic music, and music production, I encourage students to explore diverse musical traditions, question conventions, and discover connections across artistic disciplines. Through critical listening, improvisation, hands-on experimentation, and individualized mentorship, I seek to cultivate both creative imagination and independent artistic judgment.

I view technology not simply as a collection of tools, but as an evolving medium for artistic expression. Beyond developing technical proficiency, students must learn to think critically, solve problems independently, and adapt to new creative possibilities.

Ultimately, I see teaching and artistic creation as a continuous exchange. My creative practice informs my teaching, while the curiosity and perspectives of my students continually challenge and enrich my own understanding of music. My goal is to help students become thoughtful, versatile, and independent artists capable of shaping their own creative futures.
